About the Author

Anna Rezes has been writing stories since she was a child. Always a passion of hers, she took every available writing class from grade school to college. As an adult, she became a nurse, which has helped her better understand people’s superpowers. She is the author of the Pink Wine & Roses book collection and the Valla Series.

Random facts about Anna:

✂️ I’m a beauty school dropout. 🎶

🐾 I’m an animal lover. I have two dogs and a part-time cat. I desperately want to rescue all the pets and totally would, but that’s called hoarding, and my husband is against it.

🌈 I can’t choose a favorite color.

🛠 I am handy and tend to impulsively start big projects. My husband once came home, and I had torn apart our entire staircase so I could paint and re-stain everything.

😱 Snakes don’t scare me, but Spiders freak me out! I have an irrational fear of spiders getting caught in my hair and climbing into my ears to lay eggs.

👩‍🍳 I strongly dislike cooking.

🩺 I began writing my first book as soon as I finished nursing school and didn’t tell anyone about it for a year. It took three years to let someone read it.

🚗 I am very bad at parking.

⛸ I used to figure skate and I LOVED it! The jumps, the spins, the speed and grace. I miss it so much!

💥 I like superheros and follow all that nerdy stuff.

🐉 I desperately wish I could have a pet dragon. Not the Komodo kind, but like the fire-breathing monster kind.

💗 I’m an introvert and need alone time, but I’m also very grateful my closest friends are extroverts who encourage me to go out and be social with them.

📺 I like to people-watch but can’t stand reality tv.

🥀 I hate to see people hurt, especially those I love. It brings out the fiercely protective instincts in me, turning me into a fire-breathing dragon. (See if I had a pet dragon, they could do it for me)
